What are notes?
Notes are short messages located on your profile. You are able to post notes to yourself, to your friends, and to your favourites. They can be shown publically or privately depending on how you've decided to manage your privacy settings.

How do I add a note?
Adding a note is easy. Once you've logged into your profile select, 'add a note' to post a note on your own profile, or select 'send a note' to post a note on your friends' profile. Alternatively, when you are visiting a friends' profile you can select 'add a note' and the note will be seen on their profile instantly.

Can I reply to a note I receive?
You are able to send a note in response to one you receive, but it won't appear as a thread. Any note you post will appear in chronological order on the recipients' profile.

How do I remove a note?
You are able to remove the notes you post by selecting 'delete' located directly below the note you posted. You are also able to remove notes posted by other community members on your profile the same way.

Can I stop others from posting notes on my profile?
You are able to limit who is able to post notes to your profile through your privacy settings. Once you log into your profile select 'edit privacy and email alerts', and select whether you would like to participate publically or privately.

Who sees my notes?
Unless you have selecting to display your profile and your content privately anyone who views your profile can see any notes that have been posted.

Can notes be reported as inappropriate?
Yes, it's easy to report notes to the community administrator. Select 'report' located directly below the note. Additionally, you are also able to remove notes posted by other community members on your profile.

What does it mean when I select 'our notes'?
'Our Notes' allows you to view all of the notes sent between you and another community member.

Is there an alert to notify me that I've received a note?
Yes, you are able to receive email alerts when a note has been posted to your profile. This is managed through your email and privacy settings. Once you log into your profile select 'edit privacy and email alerts', and select how you would like to be alerted each time a new note is posted. Receiving a note sends an email to the external email address you used to create your profile.

Can I turn off email alerts when I receive a note?
Yes, you are able to stop email alerts being sent to your external email address. This is managed through your email and privacy settings. Once you log into your profile select 'edit privacy and email alerts', and select 'No Emails or Messages'.
