What are comments?
Comments can be anything from an expression of gratitude, agreement, disagreement, clarification, revision, or general musing concerning community content. Comments can be added to: reviews, posts, top ten lists, recommendations, and shelf items. Comments are restricted to 750 characters and are follow the same expectations described in the Code of Conduct.
Who is able to comment on the content you create?
The limitations on who is able to comment on the content you create is controlled by you. Within your Privacy and Email Alert Settings you are able to choose whether your content is public or private.
How do I manage comments?
If you have published a comment on someone else's content, it is not possible to remove that comment. However, you are able to add new comments to clarify or recant a previous remark. If you've commented on content you wrote and published, you may remove the content - this will remove any comments associated with that post as well.
What types of content can I add comment to?
Nearly any type of content provides you with an opportunity to add comments. We encourage everyone to submit comments to any content you find interesting, inspiring, intriguing, or even have another perspective to contribute. These types of content include: posts, reviews, shelves, and lists.
Can I delete comments I create?
We have provided the ability to remove comments from: posts, lists, and shelves. Currently, you are not able to remove comments from reviews.
