Creating an Account
Why should I create an online account?
Creating an online account with chapters.indigo.ca allows you to place orders quickly and easily without having to enter all your personal information each time you place an order. With an account, you’ll also be able to create a Wish List, keep a history of all your orders, and deposit gift certificates or gift cards for use toward an Indigo online order, manage your i-reward and your marketing preferences. And remember, any information you provide to us is held in the strictest confidence and your privacy is guaranteed.
You can create an account using our Quick Start section or by clicking the “Your Account” link at the top any of our website pages.
Using Quick Start to create an account
Using our Quick Start center requires you to fill in three areas.
Create a password and pick a security question
Fill in your address information
Fill in the personal details that are required
Click save and continue and you will then go to the Your Preference/Subscription page to manage your marketing preferences
In the Subscription section you can Opt in our out of promotions. If you opt in you can get Online or Store or both promotion types. You can also tell us what products interest you the most in the e-mail content section.
You can also edit your e-mail address in the Subscription section. Once you have finished in the Subscription section click save and continue
How do I create a “Your Account” profile?
Creating an account is easy - just be sure to fill in all the necessary fields and you'll have an account in no time!
- Simply click "Your Account" at the top right corner of any page.
- Enter your email address. This is where we'll send any essential information about your order, including order confirmations, shipping notifications and cancellation notifications.
- Enter a password from 6 to 16 characters and click "Create Account".
Password tips:
Please do not use passwords where the first three characters are the same, or that include
characters like, "<", "?", "PASS", "pass" - they cannot be accepted. You can always
change your password at a later date if you need to. We can also help if you've
forgotten your password.
- Next, on the "Personal Details" page, enter your title using the drop-down menu, then enter your first and last name and confirm that your email address is correct.
- If you'd like to store credit card information for faster ordering on future visits, you can do so - safely and securely - here. Otherwise, you can enter your credit card information upon checkout - we won't store your credit card information unless you ask us to do so.
- Enter a shipping address where you'd like to have your order delivered. Remember, you can enter up to a maximum of 30 characters, including spaces and punctuation for each address line, so use abbreviations where appropriate - Ave vs. Avenue, etc.
- If you're an irewards member, enter your card number where prompted (this way we'll store this information for future visits).
- Then indicate whether you'd like to receive email from chapters.indigo.ca about money-saving coupons, exclusive offers, special event invitations, new releases and more by selecting "Email Extras" Located in the Subscription section in your Account Center. If you don't want to receive promotional communication from us, please do not select this box.
- Click "Update" to complete your account setup.
