Applying for Grants
Grant Submission Period runs September 4th 2007 until January 18th 2008.
Applications will be accepted between these two dates for announcement in Spring 2008.
The Foundation supports learning opportunities for children and teachers in high-needs elementary schools with a strong literacy focus.
The Grants Program assists high-needs educational institutions by:

Providing annual grants for schools who qualify under the criteria

Providing contact information of all Indigo Love of Reading Schools for the purposes of sharing best practices.
To qualify for a grant, your school must be able to demonstrate the following:

Status as a high-needs elementary school

A main focus on the promotion of reading and literacy

Principal's active leadership role in the development and implementation of literacy focus and initiatives
