$4.5 million Committed to Enhancing Literacy in Elementary Schools

On April 26th 2007 Indigo was pleased to announce that 10 additional elementary schools across the country were added to the Indigo Love of Reading Fund program bringing the total number of participating schools to 30, and raising the total investment made so far to $4.5 million. NHL Superstar Jarome Iginla Supports Schools in Need


The Indigo Love of Reading Fund gratefully acknowledges Jarome Iginla, Kara Iginla and the Jarome Iginla Hockey School for their generous donation of $19,000 to help schools in need!


Through the financial support of the Jarome Iginla Hockey School, the Indigo Love of Reading Fund is able to support the following three high-needs elementary schools in Calgary:


  • Catherine Nichols Gunn Elementary School
  • Patrick Airlie Elementary School
  • Rundle Elementary School
