Canadian Boreal Initiative (CBI)
CBI is a national convener for conservation in Canada's Boreal Forest and works across sectors to advance the balanced vision of Boreal Forest conservation. In fact, CBI is a driving force behind the Canadian Boreal Conservation Framework which aims to preserve at least half of the Boreal Forest in a network of large interconnected protected areas. Canopy
Canopy (formerly Markets Initiative) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to making the conservation of wild places a reality. They work to protect the world's forests, species and climate by collaboratively engaging the business community and public to create a sustainable and innovative supply chain. Specifically, they drive North American demand for green paper products by shifting heavy paper consuming sectors, primarily the book, newspaper, magazine and print industries, away from unsustainable sources.
