About the Author
Kerry Acker and
Tom Gavin are
freelance editors and writers who have written and contributed to
numerous books, including
Frommer''s New York State. Both
spent much of their childhoods driving and vacationing around New
England, and they met while attending college in Worcester, MA.
Paul Karr, a native New Englander and
prize-winning journalist, has authored more than 20 travel
guidebooks for Frommer''s covering the U.S. and Canada from coast
to coast, as well as various other guidebooks.
A resident of Boston''s North End, Marie Morris
grew up in New York and graduated from Harvard, where she studied
history. She''s a co-author of Frommer''s New England and
writes the Frommer''s Boston, Frommer''s Boston Day by
Day, and Boston For Dummies guides. She has worked
for Newser.com, 02138 magazine, the Boston
Herald, Boston magazine, and the New York

Laura M. Reckford is the editor of The
Barnstable Enterprise newspaper in the town of Barnstable on
