    good easy beach read...
    for people who do not want a romance. it's supernatural (witches), magic, lone heroine and crazy evil family. nothing to it- no complicated and intricate detailed plot or character development. it's a fun quick simple read. some action and mystery but nothing mind blowing or emotional. i like the way pierce gets to the point with the story and does not over fluff or add too much detail. with a story like this you don't need much just get straight to the point. good grab for the beach. i needed something that was quick and non detailed after a couple of books i read. this is perfect and i bought the other 2 books from the series. i want to know what happens to jane.....
