This book is a collection of five novellas; Unveiled, Unashamed, Unshaken, Unspoken, and Unafraid, They are the fictionalized accounts of the lives of the five women mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus Christ: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary. Francine Rivers writes biblical and historical fiction so well, she brings great depth to characters and stories we thought we knew. I read these stories as research and prep for a series of talks I gave on the women in the genealogy of Christ. They were an enjoyable part of the work. I highly recommend this book and anything else by this author.
