This is like a tongue-in-cheek textbook to monsters, as seen more-or-less in the 3.5 Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Now that the 3.5 Edition has gone the way of the dodo, you can pick this book up at a great price, and if (like me) you're still playing 3.5 D&D, it becomes a great way to introduce to the younger generation just what it means when you say there's a Chimera swooping down from above. Even if you're not a D&D player, the book is put together as belonging to the Library of Boccob, and is a fun read, with notes, pictures, and descriptions sure to capture the imaginations of young readers.
