this was an amazing book. i read it a few years back but its still very memorable and it's still on my 'rainy day for when i'm not feeling so hot' rereading list. its really very well written and insprirational. i'm more of a spiritual person rather than a religious one but this fact can be ignored when reading this book. this book can be read not only by people who are very religious, but by anyone who has some belief system that they feel is important and worth standing up for (there is of… read more

This was a great book! I can't read a book usually more than once and I've read this twice, and I'd read it again. It made me realize that if the Roman Christians could suffer that kind of persecution and still believe, then I certainly can too. read more

This book is excellent. It is quite beautifully written. The settings, the time period and the characters are very realistic. The plot is wonderful and the author truly has a message for her readers that is extreamly easy to pick up. The characters are well developed and you can't help but loving some and hating some! It is a great book. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone! A must read!

    Captivating 5

Just like the style which captivates her readers in her other books so has the writings in The Voice in The Wind.
I was drawn in to the story of the Slave Girl, her life, her struggles and her deep committment to God in the midst of her circumstances. I have been challenged to ask myself the same question. Would I deny or give praise to my God, even in my everyday life rubbing shoulders with people in the year 2000.
