Didn't read it recently, but I have to say, reading a book that takes place in the city you live in is so weird but pretty cool. Then when u walk in those exact places that were in the novel, you keep trying to picture the authors story playing out on the streets. So strange... amazing story! I read this very quickly because I couldn't put it down!

Pretty good book. Its about a guy finding a journal of a killer, and he tries to stop the killer from hurting anyone again. I found this was an addicting book filled with suspense.

Acceleration is a surprisingly entertaining and fast-paced teen thriller, set in Toronto. The majority of the story plays out on the property of the Toronto Transit Commission, which makes the story that much closer to home for someone like me, who has been a TTC rider for over two decades. Although a quick read, the content was notably substantive and lacked any plot holes. The character development for such a short novel was highly detailed, and I was impressed by McNamee’s insight into the mind of a deranged psychopath. Due to violent content, although not outlandish, I wouldn’t suggest this novel be read by anyone under 13. It wouldn’t hurt to read the story with your teen so that you can give the “Don’t try this at home message,” and besides that, you’ll probably enjoy it. www.booksnakereviews.blogspot.com

this was a really exciting book. set in the ttc of toronto. i read it with the recomendation from a librarian and it was really good. it's about a boy who works for the lost and found and find a book. the book has somthing secrets and the story revolves around the b oy find the owner of the book. it really good check it out

Acceleration was an amazing novel. It blew me away and also the nice part about it, was that it's based in Toronto! :) This book is so well written and the details and even the characters seem so real. I hope Graham Mcnamee writes another book similiar to, or the same edge of your seat, intense novel. But don't get me wrong, this book isn't all serios, this book also can be quite funny at times, which is also nice. But to sum this book up in am eggshell... This is one adrenaline rush you will regret missing OUT ON!

This is one of those -amazing suspense thrillers that come with super glue on every page that no set of eyes can escape. I've never read a book like this, Stephen King can't even compete. Great development not exaggerated or prolonged. Climax is rattling. Heavy complications, but not confusing. Excellent, easy read.

This book is so well detailed and explained that it just creeps me out! With me living in Toronto, and the book taking place in Toronto, it makes me understand so much more, and makes me feel as if it actually happened, and it was being explained in this persons view of what happened! This is a definite must-read book! I finished it in about 4 hrs. and it just finished so well, that it was just breathless! READ READ READ!!! :)
