About the Author

Jason Schoonover is the author of the adventure thrillers Thai Gold, Opium Dream and The Manila Galleon. He has a B.A. in English and history and has been widely published throughout North America since 1973, mainly as a travel writer in newspapers and magazines. He was elected a Fellow of The Explorers Club in 1986 and currently makes his home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and Bangkok, Thailand.
