    A Must Have!

I love Alice in Wonderland and I just picked up this book to replace my other copy of the two stories which has been used so much its falling apart! The stories are ones that should be shared with the world! Lovely copy too! Small, and can be stored away in any bag for those of us who read on the go!

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland have always been some of my favourites, so imagine my surprise when I began reading the book, got halfway through and realized I'd never actually finished it. Nonetheless it will always remain one of my favourites due to its descriptive nature, and the nonsensical dialogue which was considered to be quite laughable for the time.

There is something in the way the book is written which always makes me smile, and I'm glad to have finally finished it, as the writing, although not up to some people's standards seems charming to me. My favourite character is still the Cheshire Cat, although I know some prefer the Hatter.

Lewis Carrol's erie and delightful children's story is a great piece of canon literature. This edition is illustrated by Cinzia Ratto. The modern artwork and large typeface make it a great edition for children, especially those who've just seen the new Tim Burton movie and are now curious to read the book.
This edition doesn't contain "Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There," the sequil to this work. Instead, this edition contains another work of Carroll's, "The Hunting of the Snark." It's one I've never read, but I am definitely going to pick through now.

My daughter and I shared this wonderful story which never gets old. Whether it is your first time reading the story or your tenth, there is always something new to discover or to appreciate. All the strange, humourous, and exciting adventures can be enjoyed on so many levels and by all ages. This is a story to read again and again and to share with someone special, like I did with my daughter.
