This book was a very easy read. For anyone who likes Anne Murray will totally enjoy this book. The way it has been written makes you feel like you're talking with her. I also appreciated how repectful she was in reference to the people in her life. At the end of this book I was left with the feeling that Anne Murray is the woman (broad - lol) that I have always hoped she is since she became my hero when I was 15 years old (I too am an alto and was actively in a choir when I first became aware… + read more
This was a very easy read. The book gives you a true picture of what goes on "behind the scenes".Anne Murray has given her readers a close look at the not so glamourous side of show business.I really enjoyed the book and would strongly recommend it to anybody looking for a close-up and personal look at one of Canada's true gems.Thank you Anne !!

Anne Murray tells her life story with such dignity yet candor. From Nova Scotia to Toronto and Hollywood she shares what really happened, the struggles of being the first Canadian to really cross mnay borders for female singers and her personal life. What a journey from someone most Canadians grew up with over the years!

There are so many questions fans ask themselves about their favourite celebrity, and Anne has answered all of those questions and more. This is a book everyone should have, cause it is the best book a celebrity has ever writen.
This is a very candid look at Anne's life through growing up and becoming Canada's first lady of song. She doesn't hold back, and some of it is very painful and insightful. If you think you know anything about Anne Murray my guess is this book will change that thought. It's a great read!
