    Great read. Really.

I was stumped for a new middle school novel and decided that a a mix of mythology and humour was the answer. Thank Anansi, for this book.

It has all the right elements for a good, spellbinding read: love, vengence, mystery and humour.

Gaiman made readers of even the least of readers.

In Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys, he brings back his trademark wit for an entertaining and exciting read. Following 'Fat' Charlie through life altering revelations, that not only change his life but his perspective. Especially when his long lost brother shows up to usurp his finacee and his life. Definitely a book to keep around for a laugh and a good time as well as a worthy read.

    Loved it

The story of Fat Charlie overcoming the many obstacles in his life, which seem to be ever increasing as the story moves along, is both hilarious and very touching. I felt a great affinity for the character who goes from a mild mannered doormat to someone who can confidently go with the flow while laughing and singing a tune. There are numerous plot lines and characters that add a lot of comedy and which eventually all tie together. But it's the misadventures of Fat Charlie and his brother Spider that the story revolves around. Though a little slow to start I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. Definitely worth a read.
