I loved Spellhunter and enjoyed Wayfarer, but ARROW? ARROW was absolutely amazing. Rhosmari is such a excellent heroine. She sticks to her "guns" (metaphorically and literally, as the case may be), she has wonderfully developed relationships with everyone from Garan to Peri, and her character growth over the course of the book is just delightful. (There's a scene between Rhosmari and Peri that I don't want to spoil for, you, but trust me: it is on par with the "Thank you" scene at the end of Spellhunter. Just beautifully conceived and beautifully written.) Beautiful writing is really what it comes down to. ARROW sees all the plot points and characters from the first two books come together, and it is an awesome, awesome thing. I was really impressed with Anderson's writing here, because there was so much to take care of, and she worked it all out so well. It was beyond awesome to see Peri and Paul as action!adults, and all the other characters were welcome inclusions as well. I'm so glad this book will finally be available in North America! If you liked the first two, you will love the conclusion, and if you haven't read the first two yet, you still have time!
