Atlantis Unleashed

Atlantis Unleashed is the third book in the Warriors of Poseidon series and like its predecessors, it is a light, entertaining read. The story picks up from the cliffhanger from the second book. Justice, one of the Seven warriors sacrificed himself in order to save Ven and Erin. In this story we find Justice trapped in the Void after weeks of torture at the hands of Anubisa, the Vampire Goddess that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin' (book after book). Half insane, disoriented and hallucinating, he has a vision of a green-eyed, red-haired beauty. He doesn't know who she is, but he knows that she must belong to him. Meanwhile, said beauty, is Dr. Keely McDermott, a feisty archaeologist with an ability to psychically read objects. She gets invited to Atlantis and immediately becomes embroiled in Atlantean affairs when Justice manages to escape from the void. For some reason, the two have a previous connection; hers through a cherished talisman she wears around her neck - an object carved by Justice hundreds of years ago and his from visions experienced while being tortured in the Netherworld.

Atlantis Unleashed takes us to from the undersea kingdom of Atlantis to the jungles of South America with battles in ancient ruins, vampire orgies and trips to the past via Keely's object reading ability. The novel contains some scenes that refer to the series wide story arcs but doesn't really require any previous familiarity with the series to understand the context as the characters from past books are only there in minor supporting roles.

Throughout Atlantis Unleashed, Justice struggles with the aftermath of his Netherworld experience and dual nature as a Nereid-Atlantean half-breed, which has essentially left him with a split personality whose inner voices want different things from Keely. It remains for Keely to tame his inner demons and help him integrate the personalities. Even with all of the action and adventure the core of Atlantis Unleashed is about Keely and Justice's romance which is a roller coaster ride as they surmount the obstacles thrown in their way.

If you are looking for a fun blend of adventure and paranormal romance you will enjoy Atlantis Unleashed.

This book is about Justice and his search for the lost star of Artemis. One of the seven gems that when put together in the Trident will allow Atlantis to rise again. After escaping the Vampire Goddess, he meets the woman of his visions, Keely. Keely's special gift is being able to read objects. She helps Justice heal and find love while on the hunt for the star. Great continuing story line, plus the bonus continuing side stories that tie in nicely. I am so looking forward to a book about Quinn and Alaric.

Wow finally after a couple of years between books alyssa is back with more atlantis.

And it's as good as before. Quite a bit of motion with the plot line. Interestingly enough she doesn't just focus on one couple in this book.

Quinn and Alaric circle each other a little more. Alexios finds his woman, maybe, in grace.

Even Brennan(i think that's his name) finds his fated woman. Not bad I suppose for someone who's been cursed to have no emotions. This story line though is seemingly forgotten as the story picks up. It's probably a lead in for the book after next.

I definately recommend adding this series to your bookshelf.
