    A wonderful resource

This book is full of helpful information and excellent illustrations. The audio is easy to use, and often gives several songs or calls from each bird. It includes only 75 birds, so it will be missing some from your area. Still, it is a wonderful resource for amateurs like me, who love to watch birds but haven't yet learned to recognize their songs.

For amateur (and more focused) birders, this is a fantastic resource. Identifying birds on the page, you can then click in the number and listen to the birdsong. With enough information in the text to explain migratory patterns and identifying features, the text itself is solid, but it's the recordings of all the birdsongs that really sets this book aside.
