Just such a fun read :) Hope Sylvia keeps these books coming!

I had read the "50 Shades" trilogy and was looking for another series similar to them. I bought Bared to You hoping it would be what I was looking for and it wasn't.... It was way more. It totally blew 50 Shades out of the water. The characters are more developed, the writing style is way better, and the story is more believable. The story isn't just about the two main characters, all the other characters in the story are just as developed and "messed up" as the main characters. There is way more depth and juicy details in this book. I am looking forward to reading the next two books in this series.

If you liked 50 Shades of Grey, you'll love Bared to you.

this book is soo awesome and it took me less then a week cuz i didn't put the book down when i read this book i feel like in this story !!!

The Good Stuff Writing is far superior to that of 50 Shades of Grey (which this book is always compared to) Love the relationship between Eva and her best friend Cary - very supportive and honest Erotic and hot without all of the S&M stuff usually thrown in for Erotica Interesting character study - perfect for a book club discussion Eva is a strong character - she knows there is some serious unhealthy aspects to their relationship and talks about it with Gideon, Cary and her therapist Love, love, love that the couple go into therapy I can see the fascination for Gideon (see the not so good stuff section for more on this) Day's descriptions really makes him sound hot Did I mention how hot this book is - I was blushing on many occasions Fabulous use of dark humour Looking forward to reading the sequel now to see how things are going to work out for these two seriously damaged souls Brings up rape and the lasting damages & discusses it openly and honestly which I find to be very important The Not So Good Stuff Gideon - I am not completely in love with the guy - he is far too controlling for my tastes - don't get me wrong I like a masculine type of man - but hello any man that has you followed or tells you what you can or cannot do - I consider to be in serious need of therapy (Yes good thing about book is that this is addressed) Do both characters have to be beautiful and rich -- us plain poor girls deserve hot s** too ya know ; ) ok and I was slightly irritated by the obsessive exercising in my opinion - but than again that could be why I am not as hot as Eva LOL! - off to the treadmill now Again I more a romantic type of girl so some of the sexual descriptions were a little too base for me -- but again not a bad thing -- just personal preference Favorite Quotes/Passages "That sexy length was the crowing touch of bad-boy allure over the successful businessman, like whipped cream topping on a hot fudge brownie sundae. I read 50 shades of gey....the this book is awsome....I just wish I knew it was a trilogy I would of waited to read them all....the second book is on its way can't wait....Sylvia Day great writer,,,,,,I will read all her books.

It took me forever to get an ARC of this one to read and even longer for me to read it. I was really hesitant to read it because I've never read the author before and all the hype kind of made me really nervous to read it in case I didn't like it. Luckily for me I had nothing to worry about because I LOVED this book. I know this book was published in the wake of the series Fifty Shades of Grey (Which I also read and enjoyed a lot) but this one in my opinion was a better read. I mean there are a lot of similarities between Bared to You and Fifty Shades but there are a lot of differences as well. I'm still trying to figure out why I enjoyed this book so much since Gideon is not the kind of man I would ever want to be involved in and I frequently found myself wanting to stab him through my kindle for how he was treating Eva in the novel. I honestly don't really care for him that much but I do enjoy the chemistry between them. I found the story to be intriguing and entirely all consuming I think I read the entire book in just a couple hours spread over two days. I was completely and utterly addicted to the intensity Eva and Gideon had for each other. I think what I enjoyed most about them as a couple was how flawed they are. Both suffer from their own personal demons. Eva was dealing with her own past and was trying to learn more about Gideon but he kept wanting to keep himself blocked off from her as he'd never really had a vanilla relationship like the one he wanted with Eva and kept pulling away. It was getting to the point that I was hoping that Eva would drop him like a hot potato and wash her hands of him for good but in the end I'm glad that she didn't. This book is absolutely not for everyone and that's okay some people are going to like it and some aren't but I think that if you're looking for a book that's in my opinion much more emotionally intense read than Fifty Shade with a lot more spice (even though it's lacking the BDSM qualities of Fifty Shades) this might just be the read for you. Sylvia Day created one of the hottest couples on the book market today and this really shows her talent in creating characters that while they aren't perfect do seem to go together quite well. I know I was impressed with this book and when I read it I couldn't wait to read to find out what happened next between this pair. What a waste of a read. If I hadn't been sick in bed, would have never bothered to finish it. Mirrored Fifty Shades, but not in a good way. Writing was so poor, it was like Day blew this off over a weekend. Can not believe it was even published! Don't waste your time or money.

I bought this book when it first came out and finished reading it for the 2nd time a couple of weeks ago. Sylvia does a great job in the characters that she creates and allows her readers to relate to the flaws and insecurities that we all possess. I can't wait for Reflected in You - due to come out in early October. I predict it will be a better read than this - we will see more of the darker side of Gideon ;)

Bared to You was fantastic. It was my 'post Fifty Shades' read. It really didn't disappoint at all. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down.I do admit that there was a few similarities to fifty shades, but it definitely didn't stop me from enjoying it.
