Omg this book was amazing. I'm really sad that it's over. :( The ending was amazing and I think the autors did a great job. I really hope they are planning to make more! Loved This book! C;

What qualities do your favorite series possess?
What makes you love them so much above all others?
Is it it's spontaneity?
Is it it's character development?
Perhaps drama, suspense, and romance?

For me there are no particular qualities that a novel must have in order to become a favorite, or rather a series to become one as well. The feeling and enjoyment, in fact, is completely spontaneous. Sometimes it is the romance, other times it can be the sub characters that draw me in or the unique premise that captures me. In the case of the Caster Chronicles series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, well, my fascination for the series still remains to be a mystery, not that there's anything wrong with a little mystery *wink, wink*

The Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl captivated me instantly! With Beautiful Creature's wickedly delicious premise of a southern boy named Ethan Wate and his caster love interest Lena Duchannes, I fell head over heels in love! This wonderful YA series is, undoubtedly, exceptionally unique in the world of paranormal and supernatural tales, sweetly seasoned with twists, turns, and unexpected appearances. In fact, now that I think about it, the entire concept of Casters is what struck out the most for me, grabbing my interest instantly.

Beautiful Chaos opens with a wondrous air of mystery , as usual, though it also features an overwhelming air of something sinister growing in it's midst. Ethan, though I love him to death for his southern gentlemenish persona, came across as exceptionally different, a character with something going on, something that the narration wasn't letting the reader in on. Fantastically, the conclusion to that "air of mystery" around Ethan is approached further into the novel, which came to present something I definitely was not expecting. Actually, as it so happens, I think it important that I point out that I am in love with Ethan Wate! Head over heels in love! The boy has class, charm, and intellect - I dare you to tell me he doesn't sound incredible. In terms of Lena, I've noticed that I've changed my mind about her several times since the series' first installment. In Beautiful Creatures I found her off-putting, in Beautiful Darkness she was someone I grew to detest, however in Beautiful Chaos I find myself greatly admiring her on multiple levels. Oh, and did I forget to mention that there's some awesome John Breed in this installment? I was particularly excited to learn that readers would be learning more about him. In Darkness he was a character that solidly stood out for me, one I was very disappointed didn't develop as much as I had hoped. With that, though, I was very pleased with his re-appearance!

Romance - I love how Kami and Margaret do it! Romance always seems to be a very touchy subject for me. At times it can be too much, drenching a story's dialogue, other times it can be too little, becoming a repetitive cycle of lacking development. However, with the Caster chronicles, I'm happy to see that the writing duo always add just the right amount of romance without spoiling the plot.

Like it's predecessors, Beautiful Chaos' ending had me hooked and dying for more. I cringed when I came across the exciting climax, leading me to an overwhelming feeling of anticipation for the next novel that was beyond torturous! Fans of the Caster Chronicles will find themselves gripping this installment with incredible fervor - you won't be disappointed!

Holy crap ! I saw this book and i swear my heart stopped ! Can't wait till this comes out ! :)
