    What a GREAT book! I grew up helping my mom and grandma can but never as an adult have I had the confidence to try it on my own. Now with this book I am a total addict. Lots of great recipes, and easy step by step instruction. It has helped me make delicious goodies for myself and husband as well as excellent ideas for gift giving throughout the year! My Mom loves this book now too!!

    After years of searching, finally a comprehensive book on canning. For those of us who grow gardens or are always combing the markets for fresh produce, Bernardin has produced a fantastic book with lots of updated, safe staples together with many new innovative and wonderful products. For years I have worried about the safety of using my mother's and grandmothers recipes, but for the lack of available recipes, I have been stuck with a handful that proved to be ok. Not now!!
