Bite Me!

by MELISSA FRANCIS

HARPERCOLLINS PUBLISHERS | October 27, 2010 | Trade Paperback

AJ Ashe isn't your typical seventeen-year-old vampire-as if there is such a thing! She's stuck in the middle of a huge fight between her two BFFs. Her ex-boyfriend-whom she's still totally in love with, by the way-is now her stepbrother. A former classmate-who, um, she may or may not have turned into a vampire-is stalking her. And now, apparently, the fate of humankind lies in her little undead hands. What ever happened to the good old days, when all a vampire girl had to worry about was the occasional zit and hiding her taste for blood?

This book was bloody awesome! It was so good i can't even describe it! It was a book that kept me guessing until the end and when the end came it was like OH MY GOSH!!! It was a truly amazing book that really did suck! At least it really did suck up my attention and i could barely keep my eyes off of the book! I was hungry to read more and books that do that really are the best around! and to think that this was Melissa Francis' very first book! It`s totally incredible. and i think it should be a movie all the way!

    Was so-so

The main character AJ is a young 17 year old vampire whose mother just married her boyfriends father, so she has to go from being a girlfriend to being a sister and not revel to her new family that she, and her whole family are vampires. The premise was really good, but I found AJ young for her age, and at times her inner dialogue was annoying. The story was trying to hard to be funny and I would have liked to seen more drama. I think the story is geared towards a little younger reader than me. 5/1000

I'm not sure what age, early teens may be? There are some little mentions of sex but nothing graphic or even to descriptive. I hope that helps.
