Good, but could have been better

I actually have finished reading all three of the series and although they were each a good read, I felt that they stretched out too long. If NR had condensed all three into one book I think it would have been a really great read.

    A Must Read Trilogy

    Carrie-Ann Kroll

This book, marks the beginning of a brand new trilogy for Nora Roberts.
From page one, it's managed to captivate my interest, and has managed to hold it right until the end of the book, thus leaving me wanting and waiting for the other books to come out.

It is definately the beginning of a page turner trilogy, and it's definately a must read for anyone who is a Nora Roberts fan.

Great start with book number one

Blood Brothers is book number one in a three book series, I found it was a good start just enough black magick to keep you on the edge. Book one is centered around Caleb and Quinn, who are very enjoyable characters. I am not into supernatural, black magick kind of books so I was a little iffy about reading this series, but now that I finished book one I am so looking forward to book two.

Really enjoyed the book - once I got past the few first pages!

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with this book. It started off great and actually scared me in places but then it started to get too coincidental when other characters were added in. I started to feel like character development was suffering a bit in order to advance the story and the relationship was just hitting you in the face a little bit. I am a big fan of Nora Roberts but this is the second trilogy I haven't really enjoyed. I think I'm still looking for the next MacGregor book...

    Another Great Start

And Nora Roberts does it again. I swear her trilogies are amazing and I especially love that they come straight to mass market. You fellow readers will be pleased to know that you can easily tell she did quite a lot of planning for this trilogy...and yet it seems almost effortless. She's doing great in the paranormal department. First the Circle trilogy and now this. Can't wait to read The Hollow.

I was impressed with this book. I have been an avid Nora Roberts fan for a few years now, and this is probably one of my favourites by her. I'm extremely excited for May and the second book's release. Not too sure how this trilogy is going to be unveiled, but I can't wait!

Nora Roberts can write anything! Being an avid JD Robb reader, I was expecting more romance and less adventure in this book, but that's not what I got! I finished it up last night and spent most of the day wondering how I'm going to manage to wait until May to read part II....that and I spent all day watching for signs of, well, if you read it, you know who I was watching for...just enough "creepy" to make it exciting!

    Disappointing!!!

    Simone

I’ve read many books for Nora Roberts and liked her style. However, this book is very disappointing. The story did not pick up at any point. The ending is supposed to be a cliffhanger yet no sense to bind you to look forward to the next books. I understand it’s supposed to be a trilogy, but I think the author would have been able to write the three books in one instead and forget a trilogy for that matter. I did finish the book, but found it a waste of time and money. After reading a very good book for Nora Roberts “Northern lights”, I was very disappointed in “Blood Brothers”.

I am a big fan of Nora Roberts. I love reading her books because her books has great stories, wonderful characters, great dialogue, their fast paced and well written. Blood Brothers are all those, and I can't wait for the next two books.

    Interesting read

This book is a little darker than the typical Nora Roberts. Still with a touch of romance so it gives a nice mix. The characters are interesting, the couplings predictable, but she always makes it work with her writing style. The first in a trilogy and she does a great job in introducing us to the characters and the conflict they will endure.

    Can't Get Enough!

    Deborah Cote

Nora Roberts consistently lures her audience in with amazing ability to write stories that have a "real world" feel. Although she uses the "good versus evil" ploy in many of her "trilogies", it's easy to believe that magic and forces beyond or understanding are at work around us. The common thread seems to tell us that no matter what, our destinies lie within ourselves to choose. The only downside to this latest offering is that we have to wait for book 2 and 3 :-(. Recommended reading if you like this genre.

As usual another Nora Roberts I can't put down, but this one left me hungry for more. I definately can't wait for the next one in the trilogy.

I have read many Nora Roberts books and many J.D. Robb books. My favorite romance books by her are the books that have a little bit of 'scary' in them. It was slightly predictable but definately a must read for any Nora fan! Can't wait for the next two!

I found this book to be a definite page turner. Great plot, fused with fascinating characters; once again Nora Roberts has created another captivating and thrilling story. This takes her above the "romance novelist" genre and would be a good read for anybody. Can not wait for the second part of this trilogy to be released.....absolutely could not put it down. I found this book kept me spellbound through out all the chapters. I have always enjoyed Nora Robert books anyway but this one was really fascinating. The characters were very good, they kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next. I was really pulled into the story. Can hardly wait for the next one to come out. Keep up the good work Nora

This book was absolutely fascinating. I always have loved Nora Roberts books anyway but this one was one of her best I think. I love paranormal romance and this tops a lot that I have read from other authors. So I hope to see many more of this kind from Nora. I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of this set.
