    all the books suck they are slow starters and they are always changing sides and the author writes this FIRST book as if we should know what is happening and some of the names are quite hard to say..........so sorry to the people who like this book......but.........i think it SUCKS alot >_<

    The novel is a pleasant and fast read, but I was more interested in the lore than the setting. I am not fan of designer name-dropping and the fashionista-style chick-lit, so that was sometimes the kind of thing I skimmed through when reading. It appeals to a lot of readers, but at least it wasn't overly detailed or run-on. I was far more interested in the novel for the simple aspect of the lore and mythology that De La Cruz has created in the Blue Bloods universe. She offers up an… read more

    I enjoyed this book, the beginning was a little slow but once you read more, it definantly got better. I thought it wouldn't be a very good book, because when I started reading it talked alot about fashion, and not really enough about Vampires, but towards the middle of the book there was way more about the "Blue Bloods" (Vampires), which made me want to read more.
