When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife have led her to the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or to pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fates of two tribes hangs.

Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating, and unfathomable, consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella''s life-first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse-seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed... forever?

The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

Horrible...goes against all other Twilight books 1

This review is from: Breaking Dawn Special Edition (Hardcover)

This was a horrible attempt at making everything perfect for Bella in the end. Even the biological reasoning was stupid...The author should have open a genetics text book (or cell bio...wait, weren't they in biology class learning about mitosis in Twilight?! Learn Myosis then!!) I definately didn't like Jacob narrating a third of the book....I mean she's married, he needs to get over it. For most of the novel, some characters are almost non-existant (like Edward, Alice, Esme, Renee...). In the… read more

    Not her best novel! 3

I was torn. I liked Breaking Dawn...but it left me confused and unfulfilled. I just felt like that were something lacking...or maybe too much information and a story plot that did not seem to mesh nicely together. Perhaps, by the fourth novel I had too many expectations. Still worht the read, I mean you need to find out what happens to Edward and Bella (even though if it seems freaky- for a vampire storyline).

    Absolutely Amazing! 5

I loved this novel. And I thought the ending was perfect, I was dreading the end of this book but I was totally satisfied with the way that Stephanie Meyer ended it! The only complaint I would have is I felt that it was a lot for one novel, I wish it could have been two books instead of one. But other than that it was PERFECT!

    Perfect Finish! 5

As usual Mrs. Meyer has done it again in Breaking Dawn the book we have all been jumping up and down to get! Pretty much starting where eclipse left off we find Bella and Edward getting married Finally and her change to Vampire just around the corner, but things suddenly change when bella becomes pregant , which is shocking enough, but they soon learn the baby is going to end up killing bella. The wolves don't like what is happening and decide to put and end to the Cullens only to have Jacob… read more

Love it more and more with each read 5

The first time I read this book, I was torn. I was so excited for the release, spent months planning our release party, and then it was over. But was it the ending I was looking for? Yes and no. After reading the book 5 times now (and many more to come), I have fallen completly in love with the book. The first time I read it, I disagreed with some plot points (no spoilers here). Then I looked at it again, after re-reading the entire series together. I feel that this book is great. Just… read more

    'Special' Edition 2

This review is from: Breaking Dawn Special Edition (Hardcover)

This version of Breaking Dawn is going into publication once, and it will only have 1 million copies period. Now, all I'm aware of that's so 'special' about it is you get the DVD of the 4 concerts Stephenie Meyer went along with Blue October to. The 'handwitten' (photocopied!) lyrics to 'My Never' a 'Team Jacob' song by Blue October, and a Bella and Edward poster... That's it? All this hype for that? A million printings period, one time only for THAT? I thought maybe like you know how… read more

    Jake's POV 4

This review is from: Breaking Dawn (Audio Book (CD))

i actually loved jake's point of view because he's very funny (im not team jacob, but i love his character). i wouldn't have done it in any other POV because bella was stuck in a house protecting her baby and edward was beside her the whole time. if it was ed's or bella's POV then we wouldn't have known anything outside of the four walls they were in. jake was where all the action is and we needed to know what happened through him. also, jake's POV kind of gave us a break from the pregnancy. he… read more

Many reasons why I really hate Breaking Dawn. Click this if you have read the book, and ALSO would like to know why its not one of my favourites. other wise, I would not like to hear what you have to say about this review. I'm not trying to offend anyone one here, especially the author. I'm not disappointed - it is what I was expecting 3

This review is from: Breaking Dawn (Audio Book (CD))

Let me start by saying that nothing for me will ever be as good as Twilight. It was an unexpected find and I never anticipated that Breaking Dawn would match that. Breaking Dawn was good though and kept me interested. At times some of the history discussions or side stories were hard to keep straight. I had to do a bit of re-reading to fully understand. The book was completly a Happily-ever after and I expected nothing less than this. Fans would have been hugely disppointed had this… read more
