Breaking Dawn

by Stephenie Meyer

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers | August 3, 2010 | Trade Paperback

When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved? To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife have led her to the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or to pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fates of two tribes hangs. Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating, and unfathomable, consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella''s life-first discovered in Twilight , then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse -seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed... forever? The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

The JACOB part was kind of boring and hard to follow, but I really enjoyed this particular Twilight novel. Can't wait for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 to come out!

I literally read this book in less than two days while still going to work. It was a perfect way to end the series. It answered all our questions and still made Bella's life happy without any regrets. Would have love to see Edward's view of things during this novel

LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!! This book is just the right balance between romance and action. I loved how there was happiness and then after the happiness, there was failures, disappointments, losses and fear. Some characters that might be fading from your memory that were a big part of the story come back, like come re-introduced into the story, which I admire form Stephanie Myer. She writes the story as if you are in it, with lots of details. Most of the time, I felt like I was in the room with all of the characters. Like I was experiencing all of the emotions. I agreed with some of the decisions made by the characters, some, not so much. I was the one that introduced my mom to this fantastic series. I really liked this book!!!!!!!

Let me start by saying that nothing for me will ever be as good as Twilight. It was an unexpected find and I never anticipated that Breaking Dawn would match that.

Breaking Dawn was good though and kept me interested. At times some of the history discussions or side stories were hard to keep straight. I had to do a bit of re-reading to fully understand.

The book was completly a Happily-ever after and I expected nothing less than this. Fans would have been hugely disppointed had this been the case for the last book in the series. I had no expectations beyond this.

I've got to say that this book was pretty good. But I do wish the author would write a book about jacob and renesmee in renesmee's point of view
