I would like to state I rather enjoyed this stimulating novel. I enjoy scuba diving my spare time. Having the book revolve around my hobby, kept me very interested. It brought back memories of when I was learning how to scuba dive. There were some moments where there could have been more excitement. There were a lot of lows with only a few highs of excitement. The main character, Beverly, was a very unique character. She has a few mental issues that she needed to overcome. She was very likable though. Her struggle to loose weight and still keep up an active lifestyle of a scuba diver was a journey by its self. I liked the style of writing, it was an interesting read. I would give this book a strong 8 out of 10.
