Cindy Burke is the co-author, with New York Times food reporter Kim Severson, of The Trans-Fat Solution. She writes about food, organic farming, and nutrition. She studied at the School for American Chefs in California’s Napa Valley, before working as a chef and consultant. She lives with her family in Seattle, WA.
