On the Tools menu (top left of browser), click Options.

The best cookbook ever!

I bought this cookbook when it was first published many years ago and have been cooking and baking from it ever since. It is my favourite cookbook. A year ago, I wanted to buy it as a birthday gift for a friend but, unfortunately, I could not find a copy anywhere. This year, thanks to the internet, I was able to find a used hard cover copy of this book and my friend was delighted to get it. Every couple of days she tries a new recipe and raves about how great everything turns out. Thank you Elizabeth Baird!

Canadian Living's Country Cooking

This is one of those rare cookbooks where every recipe is delicious. I am so confident about the calibre of these recipes and the clarity of the instructions that I don't hesitate to prepare an untried recipe for a company meal. The desserts, especially the pies, consistently receive my family's highest rating "exquisite". Although I am a collector and avid user of a wide range of cookbooks, this one has become such a favorite in my family that my daughter has requested a copy of her own now that she's getting married.
