About the Author

Aviva Ravel is an award-winning playwright who has written several plays which have been performed on television and on stage across Canada. She also teaches drama at McGill University. Knowing the need for a collection of plays about Canada''s ethnic communities for use in her own classes, she contacted playwrights across the country for use in Canadian Mosaic, which was published in 1995. Canadian Mosaic II is the follow-up volume.
