After starting four books this books was the one that grabbed me. It was short, and fast paste. I was done the book in two hours, and all i wanted to do was go out and get book two.
Not only was the storyline interesting, the fact that the phone numbers, and websites are all real ( you get to call the numbers and hear the voice mail for yourself) made it that much more fun.

This book is great.Buy the hardcover books,because they have "evidence" in them,stuff she collects along the way,stuff that reveals more questions than anwsers.Cathy seems like a tough person,but the flashes of her past reveals more.You'll love cathy's crazy ex-girlfriend facade,and with brainiac best friend(who's dream is to have made 30 million dollars by 30 years old through the chinese phone market)by her side,this artistic gifted female sleuth will uncover it all.

This truly is a wonderful book!! I was walking around chapters with an arm full of books when this book drew me in. I was interested the first time I saw it but decided not to buy it however as I was walking away to the cash I quickly changed my mind. I am sure glad I did, it was wonderful!

I bought this book becuse the idea of having that pocket with all those little papers drew me in, and I'm sure glad it did! Cathys book was great, so much detail, and such a plot, I just love this book. I would highly reccomend it to teen girls, but I think that other people would enjoy it as well. =D

What an enjoyable and untaxing read! While it is clearly aimed at the younger-teen and female audience, I was greatly drawn in despite being a 24 year old male. I loved the interactivity brought on by the enclosed documents and letters, as well as the phone numbers to call. It's been nearly a year since I read it, and I can still remember the characters and events from the story; now that's good writing.

Cathy's Book is an interesting read from the moment you decide to pop open its intriguing black cover all the way to its sly and believable end! The story in itself is already amazingly creative and fascinating, but added with an interactive touch, this story is just unforgettable!! As you read the 'story' behind Cathy's disastrous predicament, you will follow her on a journey from the day she met her enigmatic boyfriend, Victor, to the very stunning truth of the his life. As you try to solve the puzzling life of Cathy and more so, of Victor, there will be phone numbers to call on the way, websites to visit, and even a huge pouch of tangible 'evidence' consisting of letters, newspaper clippings, photos, and even unthinkable objects (like a napkin smeared with a bright red mark of lips????) Just seeing and hearing bits of the story outside the confines of the book make you believe the story is real! Cathy's Book is an innovative, interesting, and amazing read.
