From the Publisher

Things weren't so peachy in Cathy's life before Victor broke up with her. Her father died unexpectedly, she's failing school, and her best friend is mad at her. But when Cathy decides to investigate Victor's reasons for ending their relationship, things suddenly go from bad to very, very, very bad as her findings produce more questions than answers. For instance, what does the death of Victor's co-worker, the strange mark that appeared on Cathy's arm, and the surreal behavior of several Chinese elders have to do with it?Through Cathy's unique and irresistible voice-and lots of proof in the form of letters, photographs, date book entries, telephone numbers readers can call, websites they can access, as well as secrets only a careful reader will be able to decipher-readers will enter a strange and fascinating world where things often aren't how they appear. Two-color illustrations plus supplemental material. Ages: 12 and up

Can't Wait To Read Book Two 4

After starting four books this books was the one that grabbed me. It was short, and fast paste. I was done the book in two hours, and all i wanted to do was go out and get book two. Not only was the storyline interesting, the fact that the phone numbers, and websites are all real ( you get to call the numbers and hear the voice mail for yourself) made it that much more fun.

This truly is a wonderful book!! I was walking around chapters with an arm full of books when this book drew me in. I was interested the first time I saw it but decided not to buy it however as I was walking away to the cash I quickly changed my mind. I am sure glad I did, it was wonderful!

I bought this book becuse the idea of having that pocket with all those little papers drew me in, and I'm sure glad it did! Cathys book was great, so much detail, and such a plot, I just love this book. I would highly reccomend it to teen girls, but I think that other people would enjoy it as well. =D

    A Fantastic Diversion 4

What an enjoyable and untaxing read! While it is clearly aimed at the younger-teen and female audience, I was greatly drawn in despite being a 24 year old male. I loved the interactivity brought on by the enclosed documents and letters, as well as the phone numbers to call. It's been nearly a year since I read it, and I can still remember the characters and events from the story; now that's good writing.
