About the Author

David Weale described himself as a man who is both deeply irreligious and intensely spiritual. A minister for many years, he received his doctorate in history and theology from Queen''s University and taught for three decades at the University of Prince Edward Island. He is a popular storyteller and the author of several best-selling books on the folk culture of the Island.
