I thought readers might like to know that The Chicken Cat won both The Mr. Christie Award and The Ruth Schwartz Award, and has been shortlisted for The Blue Spruce Award. It is also available in paperback.

The Chicken Cat is a story about the power, energy and wonder that love can create. It has been shortlisted for the Ruth Schwartz Award for Excellence in Canadian Children's Literature.

    These cats fly!!!
This book explores the beauty of accepting a challenge and succeeding even though the odds are against it.
The story is as beautiful as the artwork that illustrates it!
    Well done!!!

A truly charming story, with illustrations to match. This book is sure to capture the hearts and imaginations of children young and old. I look froward to future books by this gifted author. This book is a ‘MUST HAVE' for every home and classroom.

As a student of Mr. Sean Cassidy
(Illustrator) I got to see the hard work and creative imaginations being put into this wonderful book. The author of this imaginative children's story really puts you through a childs eyes and with the warm feeling it brings it is truly not just for children but of ages of all kind. Illustrations in the book give it a finising touch that makes this book, one that everyone should have.
