About the Author

D. C. Iannuzzi is a Montreal writer and an unabashed news and history junkie. Born and raised in Montreal’s Italian north-end, he brings a unique perspective to the political and language debate that has raged in Quebec since the 1960s. It is against this backdrop that in City of Sinners, his first novel, he tells a story of seething anger, broken dreams, and a life-long search for redemption. Employing a writing style that reveals his shameless devotion to the film noir genre, he brings the raw emotions of his narrative to the fore through characterization and tone. Iannuzzi earned an MBA and a Bachelor of Engineering degree at Concordia University and, when he's not contemplating the darkness that lurks in men's souls, he earns his living as an Investment Advisor. He lives in the former Ville d'Anjou on the island of Montreal with his wife and two teenaged daughters.
