Colters' Woman

This book certainly was sexy, but I still thought "Be with Me" was a much better read.

The Colter brothers have a family tradition of sharing a wife. They were beginning to think that they'd never find the right gal but when Adam goes out one night and finds Holly passed out in the snow he just knows that she is the one. Now he and his brothers just have to convince her.

For her part, Holly is lost and lonely in more ways than one. On the run from a dangerous man, she doesn't understand why, but she feels safe with the three sexy Colter boys. Can what they are suggesting really work for her?

I love Maya Banks and I enjoyed this book, but you can tell that it must be one of here earlier books (and not just by the cheesy cover). It doesn't have quite the same sophistication of plot development that her later books do, but it's still a very steamy and satisfying read.

Although I'm not really a fan of the whole 'instant love' thing, I still really got into the characters of this book. Adam is the dominant, no-nonsense one, Ethan is a total middle child - easy going, fun-loving and sweet, while Ryan, the youngest is broody and a bit damaged from his time in Iraq. Holly, although she starts out like a frightened deer, quickly grows a spine and it's nice to see that she won't simply do as she's told, but will act in a way that she thinks is best.

Oh and the sex...what can I say? The sex is HOT.
