I love this book!!

I decided to read this book after I watched the movie, I really like the movie so I thought book must be good as well. I was really surprised to find out how much they changed in the movie but was still happy I read the book because this book is just sooo entertaining. Both the movie and the book are really funny!!

You must buy this book. It's not a desire, you need it, it's essential. This is like the way of living of Becky. This book was incredibly funny, Becky is so carefree about all that it's pathetic but soo funny. She didn't mind lying because she don't even realise she is doing it. Anyways it's an awsome book, I couldn't stop reading it...and laughing.

I loved this book. It was sooo funny, oh my gosh there is no words for me to describe this book except funny and good. If you having second thoughts about getting this book don't. just get it. you'll be laughing. ( that's just my opinion though)

Wonderful - You Definately MUST Read This!!!

This is the most amazing book I have ever read! I was hooked from page one. Becky is an amazing character - funny, sweet, caring, and full of life. She may not be able to control her spending, but in the end that's just a flaw, and that makes her character so real. I was so desperate to read the sequels afterwards that I had to drive to my local bookstore and get the rest (maybe some of that impulsive shopping is rubbing off on me from the book?). ....I really hated the ending. I mean it had no ending, it just stopped. Overall it was a really good book and had me laughing the whole way through. I am planning on seeing the movie once it comes out and I would definitely recommend the book!

when i first started reading the book i wasn't all that into it. i pushed myself to read on & am i ever glad i did. this book was a good laugh on work life, personal life and romance. the way shopping is mixed in just makes it so much better. i'd recommend this book to anyone!

My favorite book by Sophie Kinsella

This book had me from the first page, and I couldn't put the book down. This is the first book in Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. You can't help but love Becky Bloomwood and all her shopping shenanigans.

Disappointing

I picked up this book because the movie was coming out and I like to read the books first. I found the main character highly annoying, because I know no one who has that little self control. This book does have some fun moments but they are surrounded by Becky's extreme stupidity that is highly annoying. The movie is way better then the book in this case.

I couldn't put this book down until I finished it. Absolutely hilarious!! I'm now a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella!! Can't wait to read the rest of her books and I recommend this to anyone who loves to shop!!

Decent

Pretty decent book. I really enjoyed the story and the comic relief after reading God knows how many romance novels straight. The plot is pretty realistic...I can relate to the situation, but not quite to the extent of maxing out my credit cards and ignoring the bills. Also, I found it that the main character is quite ditzy, which sort of deterred me from reading this book. But nonetheless it was great. I want to watch the movie just to see how it compares.
