Is anybody Out There???

Contact is more than a book. For me, the romance Ellie has with the stars struck such a familliar chord, and made me wonder, and ask questions about myself and the way I carry out my life. How would our lives be changed if we were made aware of other beings capable of contact? Would we, as one would hope, unite as a global community, or would we fail the test. As it says in the book, Ellie spent so much time attempting to make contact with strangers, that she was not at all capable of communicating with her own kind. This book reminds us that we need to stick together to grow and prosper. It is a sound reminder, which could be the key to our evolution as a species.
