Conversations With God

by Neale Donald Walsch

Putnam | October 1, 1996 | Hardcover

Conversations with God Book 1 began a series that has been changing millions of lives for more than ten years. Finally, the bestselling series is now a movie, starring Henry Czerny (The Pink Panther and Clear and Present Danger) and Ingrid Boulting (The Last Tycoon). Produced and directed by Stephen Simon (producer of Somewhere in Time and What Dreams May Come) and distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films and Fox Home Entertainment, the theatrical release is set for October 27, 2006. The movie is the true account of Walsch (played by Cierny), who went from an unemployed homeless man to an "accidental spiritual messenger" and author of the bestselling book

False Teachings!!

Oana Savin

After reading the book "The Shack" by William P Young, I found that I had an amazing thrist to know more of God. So I went to Chapters and tried to find something along the lines of the title of this book.

I got home super excited and opened the book to start reading, and even while reading the introduction I started to get a "bad" feeling. Unfortunately, I found that my feeling was justified the more and more that I read from the book.

So I just wanted to let people know that this book IS NOT in any way, shape, or form BIBLICAL. The teachings in this book are VERY FALSE and the title is VERY MISLEADING.

If you interested in knowing about the essence of God, what He stands for, and what He is looking for in a relationship with us read The Shack or The Purpose Driven Life, or you can go straight to the source and read The Bible.

I hope you find this review helpful. I wish I would've read the reviews online before purchasing the book.

God bless,
Oana

I thought this book was more closer a description of God than any religious doctrine could ever describe 'Him'.

Three

I actually disagree with you. I found this book to be exactly what I've always known inside me to be what God is. I also disagree that the bible would be the source to read about the real definition of God. NONE of the gospels included in the Bible were even written when Jesus was alive so how could it be correct? The first gospel included in the Bible was written AT LEAST 80 years after the death of Jesus. Personally I relate to a God who is loving, and accepting of those he created. I do not believe our creator could be vengeful towards us when he gave us all the characteristics we have. I love these books and I'm sorry you felt closed off and unable to open your mind to this amazing message.
