From the Publisher

This debut novel deals boldly with mental illness and is by turns riveting, thrilling, and heartbreaking. Teens will relate to the adolescent drama and all-important friends as the main character tries to "cut" it. The bittersweet tale will resonate in the turbulent world of young adults and its readers will find hope in the uplifting end.

    Cut . 5

I read this book, about a week ago. I thought it was pretty good. Too read a type of book like this, you have to be open minded. Honestly, teens do have trouble these days, such as, boyfriends, drama with friends and you can get caught up in it all and forget who you are. It wasent terrible, and it wasent amazing. But i encoarge Patricia McCormick to continue writing.

I heard about Cut from those order forms they give out to the schools, and the description didn't say much about the book but it was cheap so i thought, why not see if it's worth the 2.99? To be honest im a little disapponted in the book, it has a good meaning, that if you cut you may want to seek help, but it felt like cotton candy you just kept pulling off piece after piece hoping for something solid until you come to the end and realize it was never solid. The Characters in the book were… read more

This book was alright. It was about a girl who had a sort of illness, and she couldn't help herself but cut to relieve some pain and hurt she had been having. Overall it's not that great, and even though the author did some research I'm not sure if she researched about what cutting really is about. I wouldn't recommend this, if you're trying to get a feel of what it is to cut yourself.

this was nothing but a childish, imature representation of what it should really be. A good waste of 10 bucks.
