This is the first in a one hundred book challenge ... one hundred books in one year. This book is really about history and politics and democracy. I have described it as a funny history text book. Check out my blog to read my full review ...

Very fun poke and satirical commentary on American politics. Even jabs at neighbors to the north, Canada. Stewart is one of the smartest comedians and his comical genius is evident in the book.

Great Book, especially if you're a fan of The Daily Show. It's Jon Stewart at his best. Simply hilarious.

The audiobook might be worth it from what I've heard.

From Our Editors

Jon Stewart and The Daily Show writing staff offer a hilarious look at American democracy and their insights into the unique system of American government and politics, dissecting its institutions, explaining its history and processes, and exploring the reasons why concepts like one man, one vote, government by the people, and every vote counts have become such popular urban myths.
