Dark Possession

This was the latest book in the series and I have enjoyed them in the past. However, I'm find myself getting bored. It seems like the books follow the same pattern.

Carpathen male is living in a colorless, emotionless world on the verge of become a vampire. Then by some miricle, they find their lifemate. At first the female is unsure about her attraction toward the male that is until they hit the bedroom(usually after a battle royal). Then someone gets kidnapped only to have the day save and everything work out in the end.

I felt that Manolito and MaryAnn's story never really went anywhere.

Someone needs to come up with a new pattern for writing these stories and soon.

I wasn't sure when I first opened this book how I would like it, but man, was I ever surprised! The setting was just right and I was able to reconnect with all the Carpathians that I fell in love with. This is definitely a must buy and read.

This book is full of action and romance. It takes place partly in the amazon jungle.

I've read quite a few of Feehan's books and this is definitely one of my favourites. There was quite a bit of humour, more so than in her other novels, as well as the incredibly steamy romance scenes that you come to expect from her. I also liked the slightly different direction that Feehan took with this story, but I'm not going to say anymore because I don't want to spoil anything for those who have not yet read the book. Enjoy!
