There are some "young adult" fiction books that I've loved, but
this one was just too "teen angst" for me.
There just didn't seem to be anything beyond the drama of being a
teenager here - well, except that Chloe sees dead people, that is.
But even that couldn't make up for the focus.
This would probably be a terrific book if you actually ARE a
teenager who is experiencing the challenges that being a teenager
involves. But since I am decades beyond those experiences, this
book just didn't have anything to offer me in terms of something I
could relate to with the characters or what they were going
through.
Not a bad book, just not the right book for me.
