Digital Fortress: A Thriller

by Dan Brown

St. Martin's Press | November 4, 2008 | Mass Market Paperbound

When the NSA's invincible code-breaking machine encounters a mysterious code it cannot break, the agency calls its head cryptographer, Susan Fletcher, a brilliant, beautiful mathematician. What she uncovers sends shock waves through the corridors of power. The NSA is being held hostage--not by guns or bombs -- but by a code so complex that if released would cripple U.S. intelligence. Caught in an accelerating tempest of secrecy and lies, Fletcher battles to save the agency she believes in. Betrayed on all sides, she finds herself fighting not only for her country but for her life, and in the end, for the life of the man she loves.

I was given this book and wasn't really sure about it but I read it cover to cover in 1 day. I couldn't put it down. It is amazing. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense, government conspiracies and/or a great read!!!!

I hope I find another book like this soon.

This book doesn't have robert lagdon as the main character but still delivers. Definately one of his best books. With fast chapters and surprise endings this is another dan brown classic. Hopefully he will make more Robert Lagdon books =)

It 's a very well written book. However, once you've read Dan Brown's other master pieces, this story (at least for me) is very predictable. in general though, Digital fortress is a good mystery suspense. Worth reading.
