A decade ago, sculptor Clare Kimball fled Emmitsboro, Maryland, to take the art world by storm. Now she's celebrated as the artist of her generation. But no amount of success can eclipse the nightmares that haunt her-or the memories of her father's suicide. Just as her star is shining brighter than ever, Clare leaves it all behind to face her demons.

Emmitsboro sheriff Cameron Rafferty loved Clare from afar all through high school. Now that she's back, they form a bond that grows stronger each day-fueled by an attraction that's been simmering for years. But Clare's past soon rises up with a vengeance, rocking the town with a sinister murder that is clearly linked to her return. As an investigation gets under way, Clare and Cameron will learn that evil can linger anywhere-even in those you love and trust the most. But it's a discovery that may come too late to save them.…

    Not Evil Enough!

This book is about a woman, Clare Kimball, who has very strange 'dreams'. She has made her life revolve around her fathers untimely death, and the dreams that she continually sees. In these reccurring nightmares she sees her father as a beast and then uses that experience to become a artist working in metal, wood, clay, etc. She writes about demonic ceremonies and the people that are involved in this story are not at all out in the open. Most people think that when there is a satanic group in your small close-knit town that you would have known, that that group would be out in the open and everyone would know that they are evil. That isn't what happens in this story. Some of the people are evident from almost the start, and the others are a surprise but I don't want to ruin it for you by telling you what happens. I also believe that the addition of Crazy Annie was an integral part of the story. She is the crazy lady that everyone in town looks after and in the end ends up being part of the clue that Cam needs to solve the puzzle. Cam and Claire end up falling in love and cam would risk anything to save Claire. Read this book to find out what happens in the end, and who is the 'ring leader' behind this pack, because it surprised me, so it will surely surprise you too!
