When a bus driver takes a break from his route, a very unlikely volunteer springs up to take his place-a pigeon! But you''ve never met one like this before. As he pleads, wheedles, and begs his way through the book, children will love being able to answer back and decide his fate. In his hilarious picture book debut, popular cartoonist Mo Willems perfectly captures a preschooler''s temper tantrum.

A good friend gave this book to my two year old...I leave it out on the coffee table for everyone to enjoy! I will never tire of reading it and quoting it when I really want something..."Your mom would let me!" LOL

Great book on explaining why no may be the correct answer and shouldn't be argued with.

This had three generations cracking up - the illustrations are fantastic and really simple for a young child. Right up there with my favourite children's book.
Very funny

I use this book regularly as a read-aloud for primary grades while supply-teaching. K-1's especially enjoy shouting "no!" to the pigeon's whiney, pleading and nagging attemps to get permission to drive the bus. Entertaining for both kids and adults.

I have never in my 14 years found a better kids book that my friends and I liked at our age. It is utterly hilarious and my friends and I are still laughing over the sillyness of it. When asked if she would let the pegeon drive the bus, she and another friend aptly replied, No, but i would let it drive the truck!

I don't know if you people are being sarcastic but this is seriously THE BEST BOOK EVER! When I went to OSLC Stu Saunders read it to us at the closing ceremonies and I love it so much! If you can't drive the bus, drive the big red truck!
I command you to read this book!

Read this book. It is my bidding. You might as well read it now, because one day, I, The Baron, will assume control of planet earth and this book will be mandatory. Be one step ahead of the crowd and read it now. Prepare yourself.

I am in the process of learning three more languages because the English language does not contain enough words for me to describe how incredible this book is. Be back soon. Bye. Ciao. Aloha.

Read This A Million Times

This book reveals the secrets of the meaning of life. Also, it is the book Santa Claus reads to his elves every Christmas Eve at the fire before he delivers all his presents.
Don't let the pigeon go unnoticed

I read this book and now I have magic powers. It's like the War And Peace of kids books.
