Melissa Thompson's first novel truly leaves the reader wanting more. With an absolutely brilliant technique, she has managed to bring to the page the emotions of the main character. The reader feels her awkwardness as if it were their own, but also has the chance to relish in her small victories. This novel is hard to put down, and I, personally, cannot wait for Ms. Thompson's next novel!!
