In a new and totally revised edition of his groundbreaking bestseller The E-Myth, Gerber completely revolutionizes the idea of starting, growing, and maintaining a small business

From the Publisher

In this first new and totally revised edition of the 150,000-copy underground bestseller, The E-Myth, Michael Gerber dispels the myths surrounding starting your own business and shows how commonplace assumptions can get in the way of running a business. He walks you through the steps in the life of a business from entrepreneurial infancy, through adolescent growing pains, to the mature entrepreneurial perspective, the guiding light of all businesses that succeed. He then shows how to apply the lessons of franchising to any business whether or not it is a franchise. Finally, Gerber draws the vital, often overlooked distinction between working on your business and working in. your business. After you have read The E-Myth Revisited, you will truly be able to grow your business in a predictable and productive way.

If you own a small business, you probably have heard about this book at some point and people have recommended you read it. Well, I finally did it after 18 months of hard work on my business and it's as if it was written just for me. A must read for a small business owner, even if things are going well.

    Every Entrepreneur Needs It! 5

The book does get a bit wordy after a while, but it really is like an entrepreneur's Bible. It will help you understand yourself and therefore, how to run your business. If you're losing money, direction or motivation, this book will help get you back on track. It is a must read for all business people - from aspiring entrepreneurs to experienced ones. I've bought 4 copies - one for me and three others for my friends in business.

He clearly identifies why many small businesses don’t work, and provides a step-by-step plan for fixing the inevitable problems that the person growing a successful business will encounter. Now, as a business consultant, I am seeing the inside workings of numerous… read more
