The author did an amazing job at making complex learnings easy, through using easy language, analogies and cartoons to illustrate how the digestive system works and how improper digestion leads to chronic disease and conditions. This is a must-read for those who are looking to improve their health.

An easy to to read book with comic like pictures, allowing one to easily relate too and understand, the functions of the body, primarily liver function. Eating Alive is very informative on all levels of understanding. This book ties together and fully explains the importance of a proper functioning liver for good health, through relating various common sicknessess back to an improperly functioning liver. A must read, five stars.
